GOULBURN SHOW 2012 PARKING INFORMATION
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE PLENTY OF PARKING AVAILABLE IT’S JUST A MATTER OF HOW YOU USE IT.
PLEASE BE CONSCIOUS OF THE HARNESS RACING TRAINING ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE ON YOUR ARRIVAL ON BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
As you would be aware many areas have had significant rainfall and that includes Goulburn. We provide the following information for your consideration as we don’t want to see any one bogged.
TEAM SORTING AND SPORTING: Please turn a hard LEFT after paying your gate entry and follow the asphalt and sand road ways to your competition areas, we advise individuals to carefully select your chosen parking areas.
SHOWJUMPING: After careful consideration (in particular large trucks etc) you are best to consider parking to the right hand side of the access lane (as sign posted) alternatively reverse in or nose in on the left hand side of the access lane THERE IS NO RING SIDE PARKING.
HACKS, PONY CLUB, BREEDS etc. Please consider your vehicle regarding the wet conditions recently experienced, we have bunted off areas that we consider inappropriate for parking and ask all drivers to park nose in or reverse in to the ring NOT PARRALELL.
HARNESS: Please make use of the parking at the southern end of the grounds and utilise the available area provided and access to main arena via bunted alley ways.
THIS YEAR, AS A RESULT OF THE SIGNIFICANT INCREASE EXPERIENCED OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS, WE WILL PROVIDE A LARGER MARSHALLING AND WARM ARENA (EXTERNAL TO THE MAIN ARENA).
